Are you looking for a quick sales boost?


Before we get too far into this, let's be real clear on one thing: this is a quick infusion strategy, NOT a long term growth strategy.

I firmly believe that if you try and grow your business on just "Go, go, go" and "Hustle, Hustle, Hustle" you will burn yourself and your clients out.  How do I know this?  Because I have done it.  More than once.

But!  Maybe the Washer just died, a tree fell on your car or you've got bills to pay.  Maybe after a short (or long) season of distractions, you just need to prove to yourself that you've still "got it".  Maybe you are about to move into a new home.  Maybe you want to make a big investment in your business.  

The list of potential reasons you may have for needing a quick boost in sales is long, but the strategies can be the same!

So how have I brought in 70% of the month's sales in the last 7-10 days of the month on more than one occassion?

First I make three lists: 

Categories of products I have on hand, or can expect to arrive.

  • Bottoms
  • Snacks
  • Home Decor
  • Tops
  • Dresses
  • Layers
  • Seasonal Blowout
  • Jewelry
  • Etc.

Resources for borrowing inventory or utilizing drop shipped inventory.

  • Do you have a boutique bestie that you can reach out too?
  • Are any of my drop shipping services offering something that could help me reach my goal?
  • Where could I find some new ws companies that offer drop shipping?

IPA's (Income producing activities).

  • BOMB photos (buy off my body), picture of me in the photo.
  • Auction
  • Sample and Singles Sale
  • Stuff the Bag Live
  • Hold Ups (take pictures of me holding something with a silly face, etc)
  • Flat Lays of outfits
  • Spin the wheel for the day (everyone that purchases something all day gets added to the wheel, whenever it fills up we spin the wheel and someone gets $50 shop credit).
  • Game Night
  • White Elephant Gift Exchange...you could come up with a fun play on words with leprachauns.
  • Mystery Bag
  • Unlock the prizes
  • Fit Videos

Then I take these three lists and combine them to make a plan for the next 5 days (or however many days I have left).  If there is a certain category that will be new or that I need to move, my goal is to hit it at least 3 times in this period.

 

Below is a simple example of chart I just *might* be using the next 5 days....

Once you have completed your list, put your head down and get. it. done.

 

Remember, imperfect action is going to get you SO much closer to your goals than waiting for a time when you can do it perfectly.
